2. Scope of this policy

This policy explains how we collect, use, store, and delete personal data when you browse our website, submit the contact form, email the desk, or telephone our office. It applies to visitors worldwide but our operations and servers are oriented toward serving residents of New Cairo and Greater Cairo. Free editorial pages do not require registration; paid consultation requires identifiable contact details to deliver PDFs and invoices.

3. Data we collect

Contact form submissions: name, email address, optional phone number, selected planning tier, free-text message describing museum goals and travel dates, and consent checkbox timestamp. Submissions post via method POST; our JavaScript handler simulates queue processing then redirects to thank-you.html without transmitting to third-party analytics platforms.

Email correspondence: headers, body content, and attachments you send to [email protected] or replies from our editors.

Telephone calls: caller number when displayed by carrier, voice content, and manual notes Karim enters into our internal ticket system. We do not record calls unless you request a recorded confirmation for corporate billing, in which case we announce recording at the start.

Invoicing and payment: billing name, company name if applicable, bank transfer reference numbers, and amounts for Quick Explorer, Day Runner, or East Coordinator tiers. We do not process credit cards on this website.

Technical logs: basic web server logs (IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamp) retained for security and abuse investigation. We do not deploy Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, Firebase, or similar advertising trackers on musee-quick.cyou.

4. Purposes and legal bases

We process contact data to respond to itinerary requests, deliver purchased route packs, schedule phone walkthroughs, issue invoices, and maintain accounts for repeat corporate clients. Consent captured via the contact form checkbox covers initial inquiry handling. Contract performance covers data needed to fulfill paid tiers. Legitimate interest covers fraud prevention, desk security, and anonymized traffic analysis from server logs.

We do not use your data for automated profiling or sell lists to third-party marketers. Museum names mentioned in your message are used only to prepare your plan, not for unrelated advertising.

5. How long we keep data

Unpaid contact form inquiries: deleted eighteen months after last desk reply unless you become a client. Paid consultation records: retained seven years to satisfy Egyptian tax and commercial record expectations tied to ETA registration 788-536-214. Email threads with active annual refresh subscriptions: retained until subscription ends plus eighteen months. Server security logs: rotated after ninety days. Call notes without resulting sale: deleted twelve months after the call.

You may request earlier deletion subject to exceptions where law requires retention of invoice artifacts.

6. Sharing and processors

We do not sell personal data. Limited sharing occurs with:

Hosting provider: stores website files and form submission inbox on servers we contract under confidentiality terms.

Bank: receives transfer details necessary to match your payment to our invoice; we do not send them your museum itinerary text.

Professional advisors: accountants or lawyers bound by confidentiality when reviewing company records.

We do not transfer data outside Egypt except when you email us from abroad—that correspondence is received at our Egyptian desk mailbox.

7. Cookies and local storage

This site does not set advertising cookies. Essential session behavior is minimal: our JavaScript may read URL query parameters such as ?tier=day-runner to prefill the contact form select field. No cross-site tracking cookies are deployed. If we embed maps in future updates, we will disclose third-party cookie behavior in an amended policy.

8. Security measures

Desk workstations use password protection and disk encryption where supported. Email access is limited to Karim Saleh, Layla Farouk, and Omar Henein for fulfillment needs. 9. Your rights

Editorial articles link to official museum websites, government transport pages, and map services. Those sites have independent privacy policies. We are not responsible for their practices when you leave musee-quick.cyou.

12. Changes to this policy

We update this page when processing practices change. Material changes appear here with a new effective date at the top. Continued use after posting constitutes notice; active clients receive email summary when invoicing contact exists.

14. International visitors and correspondence

Visitors emailing from outside Egypt receive the same retention windows. Time zone differences may delay desk response; we answer in English. If you hold dual citizenship and provide a non-Egyptian billing address, invoices still originate from our Egyptian entity for regulatory consistency.

15. Data breach notification

If we discover unauthorized access to contact queues or invoice archives, we will email affected clients within seventy-two hours with description of exposed fields and recommended password rotations on your email accounts. Egyptian authorities receive notice when legally required. We maintain offline backups encrypted separately from live hosting.

16. Marketing communications

Musee Quick does not send newsletter blasts or promotional SMS. You receive email only in direct reply to your inquiry or for invoice and delivery messages tied to paid tiers. Opt out of future seasonal reminders by replying STOP REMINDERS; transactional delivery emails still send when you purchase again.

17. Automated decision-making

We do not use automated profiling to price tiers or rank inquiry priority. Karim assigns queue order by receipt time and stated travel urgency. Contact form JavaScript simulates send delay locally in your browser before redirect—it does not score your message content. No artificial intelligence system reads your museum goals to adjust fees without human desk review.

18. Governing law

This policy is governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. Disputes unresolved by desk mediation within thirty days may proceed in courts of Cairo Governorate. Consumer rights under Egyptian law apply to residents; international visitors may additionally invoke contractual terms on their invoice PDF.

19. Controller identification

No external data protection officer is appointed; the controller role remains internal given company size under GAFI registry 493817.
